Seasonal Pass Details:
- Chesterwood Museum: May 14, 2025 - October 31, 2025.
- Open Everyday from 10:00AM-5:00PM except on Tuesdays.
- The pass admits up to 2 adults plus children for free.
- Patrons with Library Passes will need to have some form of Storrs Library Identification with them when entering the museum.
- Prior to making a reservation, please visit destination website for current operating hours and special events.
The Library Pass covers general admission and standard tours ONLY. It may NOT be used for any special events such as exhibition openings, receptions, and events for which pre-registration or additional payment is required. Library Passes allow patrons access to the permanent exhibitions in Daniel Chester French's Studio and the French Family Residence (including the upstairs Exhibition Galleries), The Chesterwood Collections Gallery and The Woodland Gallery.
Tours of the Studio and Residence are available at 11:00, 12:00, 1:00 and 2:00 and are open to those with Library Passes. As always patrons will be able to enjoy the extensive grounds, including the woodland walk and the outdoor sculpture show.
The Outdoor Contemporary Sculpture at Chesterwood exhibition begins on June 7, 2025.
Reserved Tickets are recommended but not required. Mask are optional but are highly recommended if visitors or those that live with are immunocompromised .
Patrons can register for available time slots using our online booking system at www.chesterwood.org/plan-visit and follow the online registration process.
- Click on BOOK NOW.
- Choose 2 applicable tickets ( adult, senior, student, military, child etc.)
- Choose the date and time
- fill in the name, email address and phone number fields.
- At checkout enter STORRSPASS in the promo code field.
- There will be no fee and a booking confirmation will automatically go to the patron.
- Patrons can download and print the pass or keep it on their phones.
- it is recommended that visitors download the maps/guides attached to the booking confirmation.
- Patrons will be greeted at Admissions and check in.
- Patrons should arrive early if they are booked on a tour to allow for time to park, use the restroom and walk to admissions
After selecting a specific date on the calendar, a login window will appear.
- Username: Enter your Library Card Number.
- Password: Enter your Library Card Pin Number.
