Music Appreciation with Rob Humberston: The Ages of Music History In-Person
Continuing in September for a ninth season, Rob Humberston will continue to present and discuss music in Western Civilization from the Medieval to Modern Eras. From September through November, participants will hear and learn about music from earliest chant to both sacred and secular music before 1700. In December we’ll focus on holiday music, and in January we’ll explore Bach and the Baroque Era before continuing the musical timeline through the Classical and Romantic Eras for the remainder of the winter and spring. Please join a congenial group of music lovers who enjoy some beautiful music through the ages.
The fall programs will focus on music of the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
