DESCRIPTION:Long known as a poet who stayed close to home in Amherst\, MA\, 
 Emily Dickinson actually had deep connections in Springfield as well. She 
 was first published in The Springfield Republican\, was a favorite friend 
 of Samuel Bowles\, and passed through Union Station to visit J.G. Holland 
 and family in their Springfield home.  \n\nMelissa M. Cybulski is a local 
 historian\, longtime guide at the Emily Dickinson Museum\, and 
 vice-president of the Longmeadow Historical Society. Her book\, Appleseeds: 
 A Boy Named Johnny Chapman was published in 2024.\n\nThis program is
