Mathnasium: Tessellations

Mathnasium: Tessellations In-Person

Mathnasium in Longmeadow presents: Tessellations. Tessellation is a topic in geometry that asks, "How can we cover a surface in a pattern of polygons so that there are no gaps or overlaps?" In this activity, students will learn about regular tessellations—patterns made of only one polygon— and make art out of tessellating tiles they design themselves.
