Lisa Ruch Presents Time Travel: A Six-Part Series In-Person
Lisa Ruch, Ph.D. will be joining us at the library from January to June to present Time Travel: A Six-Part Series!
The concept of time travel has a long history, but became popularized in literature in the late 19th century and still persists today. This series will look at some foundational and influential novels that employ time travel narratives, along with some once popular but now lesser-known examples. Come explore!
This month we will discuss: The Time Machine by H.G. Wells.
Summary: A classic science fiction novel that takes readers on a thrilling journey through time. As the Time Traveller explores the future, he encounters dystopian societies and grapples with the profound implications of human evolution.
You may pick up your copy of this month's book at the library.
