Music Appreciation with Rob HUMBERSTON In-Person
Ages of Music History: The Baroque Era
With the New Year we continue our journey with Rob Humberston along the timeline of music history to explore the Baroque Era. Often referred to as the Age of Bach and Händel, the Baroque picks up where we left the Renaissance in the Fall. We will explore the meaning of the Baroque in music and the arts of many European cultures, including Austria, Germany, Italy, France and Eastern Europe as well as England.
Please join us as we listen to many beautiful works from this important and bountiful period bridging the 17th and 18th Centuries as foundation for the Classical Era to come.
This program is intended for adults.
